Don’t plan your wedding meal around Aunty Mary!

I meet so many brides that are trying to decide on their wedding meal and feel they shouldn't choose to have sea bass on their menu because Aunty Mary doesn't like fish! (And I don't have anything against sea bass or Aunty Mary!). You can't please everybody and you certainly cannot plan your wedding reception meal around individuals. Consider your guests on the whole but don't stress about one persons' likes and dislikes....... or it will never end. Take advice from the chef and the wedding coordinator at your venue; they will guide you through choices, popular dishes and seasonal produce to ensure your wedding meal will be a meal remembered and enjoyed by everybody.

Brooch Bouquets

Brooch bouquets are full of meaning. They can contain some of the bride's favourite jewellery, or perhaps some of the family's favourite pieces, handed down through generations. Anything can be used that has special meaning to the Bride and her family. They can be mixed in with flowers, pearls, feathers..... or anything that takes your fancy.
Remember though..... don't throw the bouquet! Have a little posy on standby for this.

Brooch bouquets as seen on bestdestinationwedding.com, gilliflowerdesign.blogspot.com and www.offbeatbride.com
